ORDERING

Stripe are an online payment platform similar to PayPal, you can learn more about them here.

SHIPPING

When will I receive my artwork?
Most orders are packed and shipped within 5 working days.  If you live in the UK your pieces will be sent by Royal Mail, Parcel Force or a courier depending on size and weight and value. All shipments are tracked and require a signature on delivery. Most UK deliveries arrive within 2 days from time of shipping. If you are ordering from outside the UK, please see below for full details of how this works. If you need a piece by a specific date, please contact me first to make sure it can reach you in time. There may be an extra charge for rush deliveries according to your requirements.

Can I collect my artwork from your studio?
Yes, if you would like to collect in person you can enter code COLLECT at the checkout. Once you have placed your order I will email you and we can work out a time to meet. My studio is in central Kendal, Cumbria.

What about large or high value artworks?
I appreciate this is a high value purchase, and equally something I have spent a lot of time on! Especially with original artwork it’s important for both of us to make sure it is transported safely as they are unique pieces. I package framed or box canvas original artwork in appropriate hard containers, bubble-wrapped and corners protected. Some couriers have limits on dimensions and even on what they will carry please be aware that some items may have specific requirements. This will be noted in the Shipping details with each product listing. You still checkout as usual as an estimated shipping charge will be added to your order. I will then contact you via email to discuss specialist shipping options before the artwork is despatched. Depending on the delivery service chosen the actual costs may be higher than the estimated cost shown but you will be kept informed.

Can you ship internationally?
Yes, I can ship to most countries, although please note it may take longer for your artwork to arrive. If your location is restricted once you get to the checkout you need a bespoke courier service. In this case please email me with your details and the piece you would like and I will then tell you your shipping options.

What about import taxes and additional charges?
Overseas shipments (outside the UK) may be subject to import duties and taxes according to the laws of the destination country. Please note that you would be liable for any of these additional costs. We have no control over these charges and accept no responsibility for them. It may be worth familiarising your self with what they might be in accordance with your local regulations prior to ordering.

Shipping costs cover packing supplies, labour and transit fees.

RETURNS

What if it arrives and I don’t like it?
I want you to be fully happy with your new artwork so I offer a Buy-Back agreement.

If a piece is not as you expect, you have 7 days to contact me by email and request a refund. Once a return has been agreed, you are responsible for packing and arranging return delivery using the same service it was sent to you. Once the piece has been safely returned we will refund your payment within 14 days. Payment is refunded minus the cost of shipping and Stripe fees.

What if my piece arrives damaged?
I take great care that all work is carefully and appropriately packed and wrapped before it leaves me however if you receive a work that has been damaged in transit, please contact me immediately. If possible take photographs of packaging and artwork as proof of any damage.

  • Original Art
In the first instance (and if feasible for both parties) I would look to see if the item can be retouched/repaired/re-framed.  If the damage is irreversible then the work would need to be returned to me before a refund (minus any related Stripe fees or shipping costs) would be issued. You would be responsible for  any related costs for returning the original artwork to me using the same method as it was sent.
  • Prints
Once damage is agreed between us and proof of return is given to me (eg a tracking number) a replacement print would be sent to you as quickly as possible at no extra charge. (Mainland UK only)

What about Overseas Returns?
At this time we are unable to offer a refund or return on any product(s) sent outside of the UK.

If you have any further questions please let me know before placing your order.
