Developing Screen Prints
I am about to create my first collection of screen prints with Ben Dodge at the Factory Kendal. I have started to layer up my drawings and paintings in photoshop to work out colour and composition possibilities – exciting! Here are a couple of my ideas so far…
Still got the Blues…and pink and gold
The latest in my series of Delphinium floral paintings has been created with a mixed media approach of using watercolours enhanced with gouache, inks and pastels. Pastel to Pixels…
Inspired by spring flowers today I have been using yummy pastels. I am now avoiding making the dinner and helping with the homework by developing my work in photoshop!
Pouring watercolour paint
This is the start of a new series of large semi-abstract watercolour paintings inspired by spring flowers – the studio smells divine 🙂
Placing the Agapanthus
I have decided that this painting needs a single drawn stem to contrast all of the painterly daubs – a nice job for tomorrow in the studio…
First workshop in the new Factory Kendal studio
